School Meals
School meals are currently £2.94 per day for pupils in Year 3 - Year 6.
Pupils in EYFS (Reception), Year 1 and Year 2 currently receive a Universal free School Meal.
School meals are paid using our online payment system – ParentPay. This system allows you to keep track on what your lunch balance is, how much you owe for other items, as well as viewing previous payments.
Please ask the School Office if you are new to ParentPay and require an Activation Letter.
Please note that Lunch Payments need to run in credit. There is an auto top up option to help with this, and you will find instructions via the help button on ParentPay.
One half terms notice is required to change from packed lunches to school meals or school meals to packed lunches. Find out if you are entitled to Free School Meals.

Packed Lunches
Over the past few years, our School Council has been exploring a topic that’s close to all our hearts — and tummies: food, specifically packed lunches!
We’ve noticed that not everyone is making the healthiest choices when preparing their own (or their children’s) lunches. So, we’ve created a set of simple guidelines to help everyone pack nutritious and balanced meals that support learning and wellbeing.
Just like our delicious school dinners — carefully prepared by Mrs Cliffe and her team to meet healthy eating standards — we believe packed lunches should follow the same principles, using the Eatwell Guide as our inspiration.
To better understand what’s currently being brought into school, we carried out a survey to see both what children pack and how they feel about their lunches. It was important to us to listen to everyone's opinions.
We know that good food fuels learning, and healthy choices help our brains work at their best. So, what makes a healthy packed lunch? Here’s what we recommend:

A sandwich, bagel, wrap or salad as the main item.

At least one portion of fruit or vegetables.

A milk or dairy product, like cheese or yogurt.

A drink – but please avoid fizzy drinks.

No more than one sweet treat (no sweets or chocolate bars, please).

Finally, a very important reminder:
We have several children in school with severe nut allergies, so we kindly ask that no nut products are brought into school in packed lunches or as snacks. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
